Nevada EcoNet was organized in 1990 by a group of local citizens to organize the first Reno Earth Day Celebration. The Annual Earth Day Celebration brings the regional community together in one place to showcase the organizations, non-profits and government agencies working towards the goal of sustainable communities for the public. Additionally Nevada EcoNet brings sustainability information to the community through a variety of other events, publications, and partnerships. -- The Nevada EcoNet Green Guide is published in book form and available online at our website; -- The Nevada EcoNet Calendar provides information about upcoming sustainability events in our region; -- The Annual Pinecone Ball celebrating the Environmental Champions of our Region; -- Organic Uncorked - A Organic Food and Wine Tasting; -- Truckee River Cleanup with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful; -- Green On the Green with Mountain View Montessori; -- US Green Building Council's GreenBuild conference. | Board of Directors
